As part of ADSWAC Project activities, a review and planning meeting was held in the municipality of Calai, bringing together members of two Producer Organizations (POs), management committees, and traditional authorities.

During the meeting, participants shared experiences and results achieved throughout the agricultural season, discussing challenges encountered and good practices adopted during the cultivation process. The session also provided an opportunity to define strategies for the upcoming horticultural season, with the goal of increasing productivity and generating greater benefits for producers and their families.

The activity was attended by the traditional leader (Soba) of Vanda village and members of the management committees of the two Producer Organizations.

Following the meeting, participants took part in a learning visit to the Regional Community Climate Change Adaptation Centre (CCAC), where they had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of climate-resilient agricultural techniques and practices.

During the visit, demonstrations were conducted on planting methods, nursery production, organic compost preparation, the use of fuel-efficient stoves, and the construction of TIP TAP handwashing stations. These activities aimed to strengthen producers’ capacity to adopt sustainable solutions adapted to the challenges posed by climate change.
