ADSWAC Project and Cuangar Municipal Administration Strengthen Partnership through Workshop on Climate Resilience

The Project on Drought Adaptation and Climate Resilience in Southwestern Angola and Northern Namibia (ADSWAC) held its second workshop with the Cuangar Municipal Administration, in the province of Cubango, from June 26 to 27.
Under the theme “How the Municipal Administration and the ADSWAC Project Can Work Together for Effective Use of Project Resources (100%)”, the event brought together eight municipal directors, with emphasis on the sectors of Education, Agriculture, Environment, Energy and Water, Social Action, and Women’s Promotion.
The opening session was presided over by His Excellency, the Municipal Administrator of Cuangar, Mr. Benjamin João Dumba, who expressed appreciation for the work carried out by the ADSWAC project and emphasized the local administration’s commitment to its implementation.
The main objective of the workshop was to strengthen institutional coordination and align strategies for a more efficient management of project resources, promoting joint actions for climate change adaptation and sustainable development.
This initiative is part of the joint commitment between ADSWAC and the local administration to address environmental challenges in a participatory, coordinated, and results-oriented manner.
