ADSWAC Angola Team Strengthens Capacities with Training and Strategic Planning

The ADSWAC project implementation team held two intensive days of capacity building and joint strategic planning in the municipality of Calai. The meeting saw the active participation of the National Coordination of ADPP Angola, the entity responsible for project execution, as well as representatives from the Humana People to People Federation in Zimbabwe, marking an important step forward in strengthening the initiative’s institutional capacity.
The main objective of the activity was to enhance the leadership, management, and coordination skills of the ADSWAC Angola central team. Through interactive training modules and guided discussion sessions, participants deepened their knowledge in key areas such as team management, effective decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving.
One of the most relevant moments of the meeting was the session dedicated to planning the fencing of agricultural production fields in the municipalities covered by the project. This action is considered fundamental to protecting crops and ensuring the sustainability of the agricultural development initiatives promoted by ADSWAC.
The active presence of the National Coordination of ADPP Angola and the representatives from Humana People to People Zimbabwe significantly enriched the discussions and contributed to a more comprehensive and collaborative planning process. The exchange of experiences and best practices among teams from the three municipalities where the project is being implemented was crucial for defining more integrated and innovative strategies.
The meeting in Calai reinforces ADSWAC Angola’s commitment to the continuous development of its technical teams and to a participatory, results-oriented approach. The investment in strengthening management and leadership skills, combined with structured planning, will be decisive for the project’s success and for improving the living conditions of the beneficiary communities.
